These are arrival and departure dates. Spring and autumn 2028 are open for advance interest; dates will follow and no payment is taken for interest registration.

Applying and paying your deposit
Choose your departure, trip length and room, then review your application and total. When your departure is ready for payment, Stripe securely collects your deposit. It is included in your trip price, not added to it. Natasha reviews paid applications within 14 days. Your booking is confirmed when she accepts your application in writing. If House of Raj declines it, the deposit is refunded in full through Stripe; your bank may take additional time to show the refund.
Change of plans? Move your deposit once.
If you cannot join your original departure, you can transfer your first deposit once to one other House of Raj departure, subject to space on the new trip. For example, you can ask to move from an autumn journey to an available spring journey.
Contact Natasha before your original trip starts to arrange the change. The amount you have already paid as your first deposit is credited towards the new trip. The new departure’s price and any difference in the remaining balance will be confirmed with you before the transfer. A transfer does not create a second welcome discount. Your transfer is confirmed in writing; registering interest in a future trip does not guarantee its dates or availability.
This option applies to your own first deposit and allows one change of departure. Other payments and any cancellation are handled under the written terms agreed for your booking. It does not limit your statutory rights.
Paying the remaining balance
After acceptance, Natasha will agree a balance payment or a monthly plan with you. You will see the amounts, due dates and final deadline before authorising payments. The calculator is an illustration, not an automatic payment agreement. No ongoing subscription is created by applying or paying a deposit.
Your £50 welcome discount
Join the mailing list, then apply using the same email address. Your welcome discount is deducted from the remaining balance of your next trip; the deposit stays the same. One welcome discount per traveller, with no cash alternative and no combination with another offer. Read the offer details.
What to check before payment
Your written booking information must confirm the final itinerary, hotels, arrival arrangements, inclusions and exclusions, balance deadline, cancellation and change terms, support contacts and applicable travel protection. Please read it and ask about anything unclear before paying. This page explains the booking process; the terms supplied for your trip set out the full agreement.
International flights, travel insurance, visas, lunches, dinners, alcohol, shopping and tips are additional unless your written quote explicitly includes them. Discuss walking, steps, transport and access needs before booking. Wait for acceptance and joining instructions before arranging flights.
Questions, cancellation or support
Contact Natasha as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your plans, or need help with your booking. The one-time deposit transfer above is separate from cancellation refunds. Traveller cancellation charges and organiser changes follow the terms agreed before payment and your applicable rights. Our Traveller Values never prevent you from raising a concern or seeking a remedy.
